Crisis Mode

MckMama, a Heart Mom on Twitter (and she has a blog) is reporting that her son is in SVT (Supraventricular Tachycardia) and things aren’t looking good. She needs your help, ASAP.

She’s updating her twitter account pretty frequently, (click here for her Twitter page)  so check there for current updates. And let her know that you are on her side.

UPDATE: Your thoughts are needed RIGHT NOW.

UPDATE 2: Link fixed, Twitter page should work now.

Update 3: Stellan is going to be airlifted to Boston. I’ll be leaving for the dentist in just a few moments, so no more updates from me for a while.

Is the best congenital heart care only to be found in Boston? Apparently, education is in order across the country as we cannot all be patients at Boston Medical. McMama, your son and he rest of your family are in my prayers. God Bless your son’s heart for many years to come, and know we are in this together!! =) I’ve been fighting the good fight for nearly 40 years, and you can read my story just posted at my blog should you wish. From my heart to yours; it will all come out just right! ~ Nicole

There are some great Congenital Heart programs across the country – one of the best, Mayo Clinic, is in MckMoma’s back yard – but according to her blog, the doctors feel that her son needs an abation. Boston Children’s is one of the few hospitals that has ever done and ablation on an infant.
